Jeem TV
Al Jazeera network's children's channel was recently relaunched and its website was completely rebuilt.
A little bit after launch, I was brought on board to work with the agile web development startup that just built the site. In my role as a front end developer, I worked with the UX designers and other developers to bring new features to the website, as well as fix existing bugs and improve existing areas.
A lot of my work involved re-vamping the video player experience and building frameworks for new content sections within the site.
Las Iguanas
With over 25 locations across the country, Las Iguanas is one of the UK's largest and most important restaurant chains.
As part of the brand refresh for Las Iguanas, their website was rebuilt from the ground up to reflect the new brand identity and corporate culture
This included analysing analytics and determining the most important areas of content, designing a new site architecture, and developing the content as Drupal templates.
The result is a flexible, easy to update website that both looks and functions great.
FRAE Frozen Yogurt
This website represented the launch of FRAE Frozen Yogurt's new digital presence. It is many people's first look at the brand and needs to properly convey the company's essence.
Hi Panda Web Shop
In order to cater to an audience outside of their London store, Carnaby Street's Hi Panda clothing boutique wanted to set up an online shop.
For this project, I ported existing html and css templates for use with the Shopify engine, set up and tested an online billing system and trained staff on managing the online shop's content.
Feast
London's new street food festival is all about "Dining done differently". This website was developed to launch the event. The look is inspired by medieval banquets, but the back end is all Drupal CMS loveliness.
Tropicana Breakfast Inspiration
A true team effort, this mini website for Tropicana's Breakfast Inspiration series brought together illustrators, graphic designers, video and still photographers and developers to create a unique online experience. The content was then repurposed as an iOS app.
Pelican Self Storage
Montgomery
Montgomery, a London-based events company has been in the business for over 100 years. Their previous website did not evoke this provenance and heritage.
We completely transformed their online presence with this classic, more mature-looking site.
Union Jacks
Jamie Oliver's new restaurant chain is a bold take on british cuisine. The website reflects this attitude as well, reviving a retro, text heavy, Web 1.0 look.
National Maritime Museum
For the grand opening of the National Maritime Museum's new Sammy Ofer wing, the museum wanted to create a new digital signage system that would showcase the new Royal Museums Greenwich brand, build excitement for temporary exhibitions and inform visitors about ticket prices and museum information.
Together with a hardware specialist company, we created the complete signage system from hardware and software installation and setup, to the design and development of the screens, layouts and animations.
The end result is a flexible system that has pre-built animations showing current climactic conditions (wind speed, shipping forecast, tide times) and the ability for new content to be quickly created and added by the museum staff.
The Plant
As the company transitioned from a small graphic design studio to a proper branding agency, The Plant needed to revamp its company website to reflect this change and highlight recent work.
This project created a new, Drupal-backed website. One that was made available so that all staff members could create and edit content. The site also integrates The Plant's social media presence, through the use of facebook "like" buttons for all projects and the company's twitter feed.
Rooftop Bop
This project is a whimsical browser-based game used in lieu of the traditional company Christmas card. Help Santa deliver the correct presents to as many houses as possible before time runs out!
Includes an online scoreboard.
Fab Santa
One year later, the sequel to Rooftop Bop combined two of everybody's favourite things: Christmas and beards. Fabulous.
Love Cooking Festival
The Love Cooking festival was a travelling cooking and food show that brought the UK's top celebrity cooks into live theater venues.
The website for the festival was an important informational and promotional piece that explained the concept of the festival, gave individual show information, sold tickets online and provided a special "members only" section with exclusive videos and content available only to ticket buyers.
Chocolate by Trish
This website was created for the launch of celebrity cook Trish Deseine's new cooking chocolate brand. It brought together the brand's story, a blog about the chocolate lifestyle, recipes and an online shop.
